Argus Singers

The Argus Singers is a mixed voice choir of around 35 singers based in Chester-le-Street, Co. Durham.
We rehearse on Saturday afternoons from 2pm-4.30pm, every 2nd or 3rd week. Please check we are on before coming to join us.
We have a varied repertoire including sacred choral music, folk songs, spirituals, jazz, swing and pop arrangements: with of course seasonal Christmas music too. We sing in 4 up to 8 part harmony – it can be hard work, but we get a real buzz from creating a sound we are proud of. We give a range of concerts throughout the year, invited by local organisations or organised by ourselves. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss booking us.
